Worcester Wine Region - Cape Town Wine Tours

A few of the most important wineries are found in Worcester where about 25% of the total wine production of South Africa takes place. First-class wines are produced that have developed an excellent reputation all over the world. The town itself is relatively small, however, it has numerous attractions. Visit the “Garden of Remembrance” or the Worcester Museum that contains 19th century furniture. Feel as thugh you have gone back in time and enjoy the peacefulness of Worcester.

Outside Worcester you can visit the “Karoo National Botanical Garden”. You should plan at least two hours for the visit so as to appreciate all the different plant species, especially those that are indigenous to the Karoo. When you leave Worcester and drive towards Robertson you will come across the “Kleinplasie Open-Air Museum”. Here you will be enlightened as to how the first Settlers came to Cape Town and how they lived in those rough days. |
