In our opinion it is the perfect place to stay: the V&A Waterfront, busy life on Long Street and Green Market Square are a mere 30 minutes drive away. Your gateway to the big, wide world is Capetown International Airport, easily accessible within 20 minutes via the N2. Do you feel like walking on a long, white and sandy beach? The cottage is just 10 minutes from Strand – nomen est omen. Would you like to test once again some of the world-class southafrican wines? Within less than 2 km you find first class farms like Vergelegen, Lourensford or Fleur du Cap. As golfers you can choose from 3 courses to be reached within 5 minutes, the closest being World Championship course Erinvale just around the corner.   Are you looking for an idyllic atmosphere, student’s life, enjoying coffee in the streets? Stellenbosch, second oldest town in South Africa, is going to make it. The 20 minutes drive is overwhelming again and again: bizarre mountains, vines over and over, horses and those farmhouses with their cape dutch gables that are so typical for the winelands. Or does a shopping experience with a difference attract you? Somerset Mall, just 5 minutes to go, offers a clean, safe and very friendly environment with outstanding quality and a big variety. It is even an opportunity should it rain – a rare event outside our "winter" from June to August. Do you prefer the solitude of nature? Just two minutes, and in the Helderberg Nature Reserve you can enjoy the diversity of typical Fynbos-Vegetation with such a variety of proteas and other plants, surrounded by the birds‘ songs, with a spectacular view on the winefarms and the Hottentot-Holland-Mountains.   Having to choose from so many options, you could also just decide to stay at home. In the 2.500 square meter garden majestic oaks compete with a 30 meters hedge of hibiscus, different palm species, Philodendron, Strelitzias, masses of Agapantus, Bougainvilleas, Clivias, Cannas, Proteas and many, many more. Why not practice South African national sports, "braai", meaning barbequeing juicy meat and freshest fish. Take your share from a big variety of tasteful tropical fruit. For refreshment, jump into the pool, admire the squirrels‘ acrobatic climbs, say hello to the noisefully passing guinea fowls, listen to the sweet whispers of the colourful sunbirds. Read a book, daydream into the clear, blue sky, count the stars of the milky way, unwind... The Cottage   The owners named the cottage "Enjoy Africa" because they will make every effort to make your stay an unforgettable delight. Enjoy your holiday in a safe environment, feel Africa. To add to your pleasure they fully furnished and decorated the 60 square meter flatlet , using genuine african art.
