This groundfloor apartment has a separate entrance accessible through the garden and the German owner resides the top floor for part of the year.   The open-plan apartment consists of a large space with a large floor to ceiling sliding door offering a panoramic view of the bay and mountains. The bedroom area has a double bed comprising of two 90 x 2.00m beds (with new mattresses) which can be moved to form two separate single beds.  There is also table with two seats, built-in cupboards and a breakfast nook. Underfloor heating, alarm, telephone and CD player all combine providing the guest with additional comfort.  The peaceful location, the private garden and upmarket tasteful furnishings combine to provide guests with a comfortable and unforgetable holiday.               The kitchenette is equipped with a coffee machine, toaster, oven, basin, fridge and all necessary utensils and crockery.  A portable grill is also available!   The bathroom is completely modern and finished in earth tones with a shower, basin, toilet and a window facing the lush garden.   A wooden terrace with table and chairs runs off into a rock garden where many indigenous flowers and shrubs can be found.  There is also a large shady palm with a hangmat for ultimate relaxation!   In the upper garden, tucked away between trees and bamboo, guests will find a private pool area. Here one can enjoy ample sunny and shady areas.  The pool is 3,80m x 12,00m in size and creates the feeling of swimming directly into the ocean and sunset!  The pool water is gentle on the skin as it's chlorine and salt free.   The entire house is architecturally unique through its modern and puristic approach in its design. It was developed in 2004 by German architects and closely monitored whilst being built. The harmony between landscape and building as well as the choice of materials and finishings make this accommodation so unique and enjoyable.   The owner lives in Germany for half the year and in South Africa for the other half of the year. During her presence in South Africa tours to the wine regions, penguins or to the near Stellenbosch can be arranged on request.  One these colder evenings guests can relax by the fireplace or simply just snuggle in front of the television (with German channels).
