The cottage is situated on the fringes of the picturesque town of McGregor in the Breede River Valley, on the border of the Klein Karoo. McGregor is regarded as one of the "Jewels of South Africa". It is the best and most completely preserved example of typical 19th century architecture in the Cape Province.
McGregor is well known and loved for its white washed, thatch-roofed houses, quiet streets and the merry chirping of birds. Here, time has stood still. It is the perfect setting for a re-energising holiday.
