Charming, thatched country-style log cabins with pool and barbecue – for 4 or 6 persons Located on the outskirts of Durbanville, to the northeast of Cape Town, the log cabins are situated on beautifully landscaped, spacious grounds with manicured lawns. The grounds are fully enclosed and very secure, and entry is permitted only via an electronically operated gate. The Cottages offer two bedrooms, full bathroom, open plan kitchen, dining area, lounge and cooling fan. The main bedrooms are fitted with a queen size bed, electric blankets, spare blankets and a hairdryer. The loft bedroom houses four single beds. Ample wardrobe space is available for both bedrooms, and all bedding is provided. A camp cot for babies can be supplied on request. The bathroom has a vanity unit, bath and separate shower, and clean towels are provided daily. The open plan kitchens are equipped with stove, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, crockery, cutlery, cookware, double bowl basin and ample cupboards. The dining table seats six persons. The cosy lounge has satellite television and video, and opens onto a patio with mountain views and the large landscaped garden. The water feature in the garden attracts many waterfowl. Enjoy a sundowner and relax next to the pool, while the smell of roasting meat over a bed of coals fills the late summer afternoon. RATES 2006/2007 per person per night
