4 Guest Cottages in St Helena Bay on the West Coast of South Africa-STH 1
Elm Tree Guest Cottages are situated on a smallholding in St. Helena Bay overlooking Sandy Point Harbour and beautiful St. Helena Bay. We offer 4 well equipped self-catering cottages, each individually decorated in a bright and breezy West Coast style.
Oystercatcher Cottage
Sleeps up to 6 people in 2 twin bedded rooms and 1 open loft bedroom. There is a spacious open plan lounge and dining area that opens onto the stoep with built-in braai. The kitchen is equipped with oven and hotplates, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster, kettle, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. The bathroom has a large shower, toilet and handbasin. Handmade Batavian floor tiles and the bamboo shaded stoep help to keep the cottage cool in the summer months.
  
The Tank
This is modelled on a farm reservoir and is a double storey round cottage. The bedroom occupies the entire top floor, with 1 double bed and 2 single beds, and a balcony from which to enjoy the view. Downstairs, the large open plan lounge/dining and kitchen area opens onto the stoep with braai. There is a spacious bathroom with shower, basin and toilet. The kitchen is equipped with an oven and hotplates, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster, kettle, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery.
  
  
The Stables (consists of 2 identical semi-detached cottages)
The Hen House and The Cowshed
These each sleep 2 people in a twin bedded room and there are 2 single couches in the lounge that can be made up into beds if required. The open plan lounge/dining and kitchen area is spacious and the view from the kitchen window makes the washing up not such a chore! The kitchen is equipped with an oven and hotplates, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster, kettle, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and basin. There is a private stoep for each cottage with a braai.
  
All towels and bedding are provided, as well as tea and coffee to refresh you after your trip. All cottages enjoy a view of the harbour and bay – with the fishing boats coming and going there is always something to see!
