In a five minutes walk the beautiful sandy beach is reached. The beach at Betty's Bay can be reached in 7 minutes by car. Palmiet River Lagoon is located just in the neighborhood and can be reached by car in 5 minutes.
The village is situated between Kleinmond and Pringle Bay, about 42 miles southeast of Gordon's Bay. Cape Town lies about 100 km away. The whale-watching town Hermanus is reached in about 20 minutes by car.
The wine area ''Heaven and Earth'' at Hermanus is easily reached by a rented car. Many tourists will be surprised to find such a wonderful wine region in the vicinity of Walker Bay!
