The accommodation is situated in a peaceful area on top of a hill overlooking Knysna, the Knysna Heads and the lagoon. It offers stunning views and has a very African-inspired feel and interior. Guests have a choice of Bed & Breakfast accommodation (in 3 rooms overlooking the garden, terrace and pool) as well as an open-plan self-catering flatlet with 3 single beds and a kitchenette (also on a B&B basis). A further 2 fully equipped self-catering apartments are available for guests' convenience.
Each of the three B&B rooms boast stunning views which can be enjoyed from private balconies. All rooms have DSTV (satellite television), fans, tea- & coffee-making facilities, en-suite bathrooms with a shower and /or bath, ADSL/W Lan, safe and private parking.
The two self-catering apartments are newly built (in 2008) and are modern and comfortable. The kitchen, open-plan lounge (with sleeper couch for kids), dining room and guest toilet are situated downstairs and lead to the braai area on the terrace. The 2 double rooms are located upstairs and have balconies overlooking the famous Knysna Heads and lagoon. There are also 2 bathrooms with one being en-suite. The holiday apartments have DSTV, fans, tea- and coffee-making facilities, underfloor heating, heated towel rails, an alarm system as well as a garage.
A continental breakfast is served in the well appointed dining area (with views of the Knysna Heads) to all guests staying on a B&B basis in the main house. It is an optional extra for guests staying in the self-catering apartments. As an alternative the fridge can be stocked on request!
The charming little town of Knysna, where guests will find a myriad of restaurants, cafés, shopping malls as well as a busy nightlife, is located only a 2-minute walk away. The popular, clean and very safe beaches of Brenton On Sea and Buffalo Bay are only 15km away.
