Luxury timber log chalets on the shores of the Knysna lagoon
On the shores of the famous Knysna Lagoon lies a village of timber log chalets amongst majestic Milkwood trees. The tranquil resort offers guests a haven of leisure and comfort, wonderful views of the lagoon and the Outeniqua Mountains in the background.
Chalets
Our Waterfront Chalets are situated above the beach front, affording guests views overlooking the lagoon, with the Outeniqua Mountains in the background.
Our Hillside Chalets are situated amongst the Milkwood trees overlooking the resort. Most of these chalets afford guests panoramic views of the lagoon and the Outeniqua Mountains.
Our Middle Chalets are nestled behind our waterfront chalets, hence close to the beach front.
Each chalet has two bedrooms, a main bedroom with a double bed, and two twin beds in the other bedroom. There is one bathroom with a bath/shower. All chalets have a fully equipped, open-plan kitchen with all the modern conveniences such as microwave, fridge/freezer and stove with oven. The lounge is equipped with TV with all local channels, M-Net, Movie Magic, Supersport and Cartoon Network.
Each chalet has its own sundeck and BBQ facilities. Bed linen and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels. The chalets are serviced daily. We offer secure parking and on-site security. Each chalet also has its own mini-safe.
Activities
Our private beach front offers an ideal setting for sunbathing, safe swimming and water sports in the protected bay. Canoes, a windsurfer and paddle skis are available to our guests at no extra cost. Motorised boats can be hired locally. Other activities include hiking and bird watching.
Paquitas Restaurant, East Head Café and the Heads Adventure Center are all within walking distance from the resort.
