The George Golf Club
The club lies west of George on the lovely Garden Route in the outflows of the Outeniqua-mountains. From the „Villa Brigitte“, it's only 50m to the famous golf club. This golf course is one of the oldest clubs of the country, and today it is a 18-hole Championship course whose main attractions are its natural beauty, and its well cared for grounds. Hole 18 is the trademark of the course: T-off is toward the club house with the lovely Outeniqua mountains behind. This course is a beautifully manicured, 72 par, 18 hole course, with bent greens, rolling hills and a view that sets it apart from its rivals.
Fancourt Golf Course
The Fancourt luxury-golf-Resort (owner SAP founder Hasso Plattner) lies removed in the heart of the Garden Route in the shadow of the Outeniqua-mountains, only 5 min. from the „Villa Brigitte“. The Estate hosts four 18-hole courses. All 4 courses - Montagu, Outeniqua, The Links and Bramble Hill were designed by Gary Player.
