Fish Eagle Lodge in Knysna is beautifully situated with views of Knysna Lagoon & mountains. The Lodge offers comfortable Knysna bed and breakfast accommodation and is a perfect base to explore the surrounding indigineous forests, trails, lakes and the magnificent beaches from the Wilderness area to the Tsitsikamma National Park or enjoy the option of playing 5 Golf-courses within a 45 minute radius.
Nestling on the banks of a turquoise blue lagoon in the heart of the Garden Route is the picturesque town of Knysna. Pristine beaches, lakes, mountains, forests, and rivers provide endless opportunity for leisure and outdoor activities. Within the town, craft shops and cafés beckon with small-town charm and hospitality. The area is a veritable garden of Eden: home to the only forest elephant in South Africa, the unique Knysna seahorse, the Brenton-blue butterfly, the Pansy shell, Knysna Turaco and a variety of water fowl, forest birds, dolphins, visiting whales and a fine team of associated Knysna jewellers.
A temperate climate and a fine selection of restaurants, golf estates, health spas, boat cruises, nature reserves, and outdoor activities make Knysna the perfect holiday destination. Even in winter the warm Indian Ocean attracts many a swimmer.
The indigenous forests are dotted with well marked walks and cycling/horse riding paths, whilst the 8000 plant species of the Cape fynbos attract many birds (some endemic to the area).With an average January temperature of 26ºC and the winter averageof 18ºC, it is a happy climate all year round.

FISH EAGLE: This lagoon-facing bedroom has twin beds, a full en-suite bathroom with bath and shower as well as a balcony with views over the lagoon. Not self catering, no BBQ facilities.
BLACK EAGLE: This country-facing self-catering suite has a lounge area, a kitchenette and a patio in the garden. There is a queen-size double bed as well as a full bathroom. No BBQ facilities.
BATELEUR: This country-facing bedroom has twin beds and a full en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. There is a balcony with views of the garden. Not self catering, no BBQ facilities.
MARTIAL EAGLE: This double storey lagoon-facing self-catering apartment has a queen-size sleeper couch in the lounge and twin beds in the bedroom upstairs. It has a balcony, a full bathroom downstairs with bath and shower, a lounge area and fire place, a kitchenette, a patio and braai facilities.
TAWNY EAGLE: This double storey country-facing self-catering apartment has a queen-size sleeper couch in the lounge and twin beds in the upstairs bedroom. It has a balcony, a full bathroom downstairs with bath and shower, a lounge area and fire place, a kitchenette, a patio and braai facilities.
EAGLES NEST I: This lagoon-facing self-catering suite has twin beds as well as a queen-size sleeper couch in the lounge. There is a private bathroom and a balcony with lagoon views. No BBQ facilities.
EAGLES NEST II: This small romantic lagoon-facing bedroom has a full en-suite bathroom with shower and a jacuzzi. There is a king-size double bed and a balcony with lagoon views. Not self catering, no BBQ facilities.
CROWNED EAGLE: This honeymoon bedroom has a fire place, a king-size double bed, a full en-suite bathroom with shower and jacuzzi bath as well as a patio with beautiful lagoon views. Not self catering, no BBQ facilities.
FALCON SUITE: This lagoon-facing suite has queen-size double bed, an en-suite bathroom, a lounge area and a patio with beautiful lagoon views. Not self catering, no BBQ facilities.
