Great mountain and beach walks! It is a 3 minute drive to popular Fish Hoek beach, featuring: a kid's playground, restaurant, bistro, calm water and safe bathing (recently voted one of the safest beaches in the world). The temperature of the water here is approximately 5-7 degrees warmer than that off the beaches of the Atlantic Coast (Camps Bay, Hout Bay, etc).
World-renowned attractions, all within 15 minutes drive, include Cape Point Nature Reserve, Boulder's Beach Penguin Colony, Chapman’s Peak Drive and the Constantia Wine Route.
Whale watching is a favourite pastime in the False Bay area from early August through to mid-October each year.
Central Cape Town, Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Robben Island and the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront are all within a radius of 35 minutes by car.
