Stylish and luxurious accommodation in the historical De Waterkant

Nestled on the slopes of Signal Hill and overlooking Table Bay, the exclusive De Waterkant lies in the historical Bo-Kaap area of picturesque Cape Town and was built to house settlers and workers in the 1700's. Today it's one of the most fashionable destinations in Africa.  By day De Waterkant is a bustling business area where people live, work, do lunch and shop. By night it's a playground bursting with energy and pleasure seekers.  The village with its warm charm and character will make you feel right at home.  Lounge around at the sidewalk cafes sipping cocktails or enjoy a light meal whilst watching this trendy village come alive.  De Waterkant is made up of quaint, cobbled streets lined with colourful historic cottages.

Crash pads:  Developed as creative and gentle, small living spaces (less than 40m²) offering the freedom and privacy of a self-catering establishment - often with beautiful courtyards.  The crash pads are ideal for traveling partners during shorter stays. Facilities include bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms (either with bath/shower or both), kitchenette with mini bar fridge, microwaves and limited cooking facilities. All crash pads have built in safes, ironing boards and hairdryers.

  • Overnight packs are supplied upon arrival
  • Housekeeping and linen change by arrangement and charged separately.

Elegant and luxury houses and apartments:  The accommodations are immaculately prepared to detailed guest specifications and are graded 3 or 4 stars.  There are a variety of serviced, luxurious self-catering houses and apartments with roof top gardens, splash pools and fireplaces. Many of the houses and apartments have stunning ocean and harbour views, which make the village the most attractive and trendy place to be in Cape Town.
All apartments/houses have fully equipped kitchens and television (with M-Net), built-in safes and hairdryers.  Some have washing machines, tumble dryers and dishwashers.

  • Overnight packs are supplied upon arrival
  • Daily housekeeping and a linen change are included in the rate.  Housekeeping on request over weekends and charged for separately.
