Spacious, sun-filled, modern villa for up to 8 persons - LLA5

Spacious, sun-filled, modern villa for up to 8 persons

This bright, modern and spacious villa overlooks the Llandudno Sunset Rocks. The house offers three en-suite bedrooms, two single bedrooms and a large beautiful open-plan living and dining area. It comfortably sleeps eight people.

The villa is located within walking distance to two beaches. It takes 10 minutes to the main Llandudno beach and 15 minutes to Sandy Bay beach.

All rooms face west, including the living rooms and have uninterrupted ocean views. Some of the rooms offer additional views of the surrounding mountains (Little Lions Head or Table Mountain). The bay is rich with sea life and whales, dolphins and seals are seen regularly.

The house is three years old and was designed by the well-known Anna Cowen. Natural colours and materials such as balau wood and birch were used as well as sandstone, quartzite and travertine.  Stainless steel and aluminium contrasts well with the natural finishes to give the house a very modern look. The house is grounded with natural sandstone rocks, granite boulders and gravel.  The furniture, decorations, paintings and artwork are modern and minimalist in style - all complimenting the house well.  The open-plan living area (150 m2) consists of a living room, a lounge, a dining room and a large kitchen, all with ocean views and direct patio access.  It is built on a single level.

Sliding doors open from the living area onto a large (50 m2) west-facing patio. The patio is furnished with teak tables and chairs and has a retractable pergola for sun and wind protection and is ideal for outside dining or entertainment offering spectacular views of the Sunset Rocks and the Ocean.  A full range of AEG and Siemens appliances: dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, gas hobs, extraction hood, electric garbage disposal, etc. complements the state-of-the-art kitchen.  The house has a separate laundry with a washer and dryer.

Rooms
Two master bedrooms are located on the main level. Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom and separate dressing room. Glass sliding doors lead to your private ocean-facing patio. The master bedrooms, bathrooms and dressing rooms all have under-floor heating. The large bright en-suite bathrooms feature travertine floors, double basins and electric towel rails.  Both master bedrooms feature separate dressing rooms that could be used to sleep infants or a small child.

A children's bedroom is located adjacent to one of the master bedrooms.

A fourth bedroom with a smaller en-suite bathroom is located on the lower level. This bedroom has its own private patio with pool access.

The fifth bedroom (also doubling as an office) is located upstairs, with 360-degree panorama views of the Ocean and surrounding mountains.

Llandudno is one of South Africa's most exclusive suburbs, with International celebrities regularly purchasing or renting in the area. This luxury self-catering villa style apartment is only 20 minutes from Cape Town by car and the drive in itself is awe inspiring, along the Atlantic sea board.

There are no shops, hotels, or restaurants in Llandudno, only 300 homes. Yet civilisation is minutes away.
