This holiday house is one of Camps Bay's (Cape Town/South Africa) original homes and has been totally revamped into a stylish 4-bedroom holiday house whilst still retaining its simple, beach-style character. The house is exceptionally secluded and secure, set well back from the street in a lush garden dominated by a spreading Lilac tree and surrounded by views of the Twelve Apostles and Lion's Head mountains.
The property is large and airy and it enjoys a wonderful flow from outside to inside. The lounge opens up onto the generous patio and pool deck, which overlooks the garden. Each bedroom is generous and all open either onto the garden or onto flower-filled courtyards. Each of the en-suite bathrooms has its own unique theme, with an emphasis on nature - sand textures, pebbles, mother-of-pearl and driftwood.
The holiday house has a relaxed beach cottage feel yet is equipped to the highest standards. It offers the international traveller all that he/she might want in a self-catering accommodation, including wireless Internet access and satellite television.
The location is incredible. Camps Bay beach is very close - literally one or two minutes stroll from the front door, but does not suffer from any noise.
The local tennis courts and play park are across the road, and within a few minutes' walk you have access to in excess of 25 restaurants, a number of bars, a library, shops, and all the other amenities that Camps Bay offers.
This holiday house appeals to all ages. Its single level and enclosed garden suits families with young children or the elderly, but its stylish design and great location, just behind the trendy sunset strip and the beach's great surf break, make it a dream holiday location for a group of friends.
