As one enters the villa a spacious reception hall area immediately welcomes guests with a twin small staircase on either side of the main open-plan dining and kitchen area and large fold-away patio doors open directly onto the large entertainment area (with pool and garden). Guests have the choice of either a more formal seating arrangement at the elegant dining table or they can sit at the glass tabled breakfast bar area. This area leads off into the lounge where two large leather couches invite guests to relax and either enjoy the view across the golf course or alternatively sit and watch their favourite sport/film on the large 42” plasma television with DVD player and satellite.
The central focus of the house design is an elegant spiral staircase leading up to the second more private den/lounge area complete with the master bedroom. This second lounge is equal in size to the lower lounge and also boasts a twin set of character leather couches and a second 42” plasma television. Walking through to the master bedroom one has a magnificent view across the Golf Course to Robben Island. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with a double sized shower, a luxurious bath and a twin sink unit.
Off the downstairs lounge are two spacious and again well thought out double bedrooms (each with a double bed), both of which have their own fully contained and private en-suite bathrooms. One of these bedrooms offers not only a separate shower, but also a large deep sunken bath. This bedroom has direct and private access onto the pool area. All the bedrooms are carpeted and benefit from individually controlled air-conditioning units as well as fully fitted uniquely designed wardrobes throughout. They also include luxurious en-suites including separate shower units and are designed to be completely private to each bedroom thus enabling sharing couples the privacy when staying with a larger group.
This kitchen is fitted with a complete compliment of the most up-to-date and modern appliances available. From a large American Style refrigerator/freezer to matching Microwave, the kitchen has all of facilities and amenities you can expect from such a large and prestigious villa. Adjacent to the kitchen is a well appointed utility/scullery with again ample unit space and also incorporating the washing machine/tumble dryer and dishwasher. From the scullery is a door leading out to the private courtyard where a large washing line can be used.
The clever design of the house also ensures that it always remains fully protected from the infamous South Easter wind that can blow up through Cape Town during the long hot summer months, ensuring that guests will always be extremely comfortable whilst relaxing by the pool or sitting in the cool shade of the entertainment area.
