The first impression this spacious, exquisitely decorated apartment makes is that of security. A sturdy security gate opens onto a short flight of stairs lined with pot plants and water features, which lead up to the front door. This home away from home has an alarm system and stunning sea views from almost every window, with partial mountain views from others, and is right opposite the Camps Bay beach – literally a one-minute stroll away.
Trendy Camps Bay restaurants are located within walking distance for an evening out, and shops are available just up the street.

This ultra modern apartment in Bakoven features under floor heating for a cosy stay in winter and marble-like cream-coloured tiles throughout to cool hot feet on warm summer days. There is a convenient guest toilet off the sizeable entry hall.
Relax amongst the scatter cushions on the lounge’s super-soft couches and enjoy the refreshing sea breezes wafting in from the balcony whilst watching DSTV, a video or a DVD, or indulge in some soothing tunes on the hi-fi whilst admiring the full sea view during a bit of pleasant conversation with friends. Four sun-loungers are available on the tiled balcony for sunbathing, and an outside table provides a place to sip cocktails or sample some excellent Cape wine as the sun goes down. On warmer evenings, the splash pool on one side of the balcony is the coolest place to enjoy sundowners, alternatively guests can experience the local tradition of braaing (bbq) with friends or family.
The dining room’s large table is ideal for social suppers or romantic candlelight tête-à-têtes, to which the sea view from the lounge window will add a touch of holiday ambience. The kitchen boasts solid black countertops and light wood cupboards, as well as all the modern necessities such as a coffee maker, dishwasher and microwave. Just off the kitchen is a laundry with a washing machine and tumble dryer, and the double door fridge/freezer is built seamlessly into the cupboards for an upmarket modern look and feel.
All three bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with baths, showers and heated towel rails, plus the added convenience of towels and basic toiletries. Each bedroom has chic built-in cupboards, attractive bedside tables with reading lamps, and wall-to-wall carpeting to ensure barefoot comfort in the morning or on trips to the bathroom.
The master bedroom has a king-sized bed that can be separated into two single beds, a flat screen TV for lazy nights spent cuddled up with hot coco and snacks, a safe to keep valuables in whilst away sightseeing, air-conditioning, and an awe-inspiring sea view. A short passage lined with built-in cupboards leads to the main bedroom’s en-suite, from where partial sea and mountain views can be enjoyed. The second bedroom has two double beds and a TV, and the third has two single beds.
