This generous, serene country lodge opened its doors in November 2006 and is therefore still relatively new. It's situated in Harkerville, between Plettenberg Bay (10km) and Knysna (22km). The property overlooks smooth meadows and distant views to the south and west. Majestic gum trees grace the property to the north and east.
This holiday lodge offers elegant luxury in a tranquil country side environment. The large individually styled rooms are all en-suite and have their own private patio or balcony, satellite television, air-conditioning, king-size beds with separate mattresses, comfortable couch with coffee table, a mini fridge, a tea tray and a hairdryer.
One permanent computer station offers ADSL internet access for guests. Alternatively internet access can be obtained through wireless remote within and outside the lodge.
Guests can enjoy a large 16m swimming pool, a braai gazebo area and peaceful garden spaces amongst rolling lawns. Breakfast is served in the dining room or alfresco on the patio. A variety of highly recommendable restaurants are within close proximity of this guesthouse.
The accommodation's central location within the Garden Route makes this an ideal base from which to explore and enjoy the many varied attractions such as adventure activities, hiking trails and sea-side walks, swimming in the unspoiled Plettenberg Bay beach, internationally renowned golf courses, country Polo, horse riding, sailing, canoeing, mountain biking, retail therapy, massage therapy and so much more. A host of day trip options like visiting ostrich and crocodile farms, "Tsitzikamma Coastal National Park", "Robberg", wine farms, a cheese farm, Elephant-, Bird- and Monkey parks, craft markets, etc. are all nearby.
