Hout Bay Lodge Guest Accommodation - Self-catering suites in Hout Bay South Africa   Affordable holiday accommodation in Hout Bay with pool and views - HBA13   Nestled up against a mountainside nature reserve in a small quiet and peaceful suburb, this holiday lodge offers fully equipped and attractive self-catering accommodation and boasts wonderful views of Hout Bay valley. The Lodge features attractive secluded gardens, with communal pool and sun deck. Each of the four suites has a full bathroom and sleeps 2-4 people.   Situated in the charming village of Hout Bay, the Lodge is 5 minutes drive from shops, restaurants, the beach and a busy fishing harbour; as well as being ideally located to explore the Cape Peninsula via Chapman’s Peak Drive, go wine tasting on the Constantia Wine Route or experiencing the world-class restaurants and cosmopolitan night life of Camps Bay and Cape Town city.   The Lodge features a landscaped garden with a communal pool and new sundeck where the sun stays until late afternoon. All guests have full use of the garden and pool areas and swimming towels are available on request. We regret that there is no smoking permitted in all suites, to ensure your comfort and that of subsequent guests. Those who wish to may smoke on the decks (ashtrays provided) or in the garden and pool areas.   Holiday Accommodation in Hout Bay:   Suite 1 features a large bedroom with king-size four-poster bed, occasional chairs and Satellite TV. The large bathroom features a corner bath and separate shower cubicle, hand basin and toilet. A second room contains a small kitchen with a dining table and chairs. The bedroom and kitchen both open out onto a large deck that offers spectacular views out over the Hout Bay valley to the sand dunes of Sandy Bay and to the surrounding mountains. The deck is furnished with outdoor furniture, a sun umbrella and a small barbecue. An infant camp cot can be provided, on request. The suite also features a small “nest” – a mezzanine floor above the kitchen accessed via wooden steps to loft accommodation suitable for 2 children 5 – 9 years old (restricted height). PLEASE NOTE: There are stairs up to this suite (no wheelchair access). Suite 1 comes fully equipped with: Microwave, oven and fridge/freezer Hair dryer, iron and ironing board Television (Satellite) & music player Kitchen Cutlery and crockery Linen and towels etc.   Suite 2 contains a comfortable bedroom with double bed, separate bathroom with bath and a separate shower cubicle, hand basin and toilet. The large living area includes a kitchenette, double sleeper couch, day bed TV, DVD etc. An infant camp cot can be provided, on request.  The suite has vistas over the Hout Bay valley to the surrounding mountains and the bedroom overlooks the pool. PLEASE NOTE: There are a few stairs up to this suite (no wheelchair access). Suite 2 comes fully equipped with: Microwave, oven and fridge/freezer Hair dryer, iron & ironing board Television (incl. M-Net), DVD and music player Dining table and chairs Small Kitchenette Cutlery and crockery Linen and towels etc. Sleeps up to 4 people.   Suite 3 has a comfortable bedroom with a double or 2 twin beds, a good size bathroom, with bath and separate shower, hand basin and toilet. The large living area includes a double sleeper couch and a day bed. An infant camp cot can be provided, on request.  The suite opens out onto a verandah, with views out over the Hout Bay valley to the sand dunes of Sandy Bay and to the surrounding mountains and also has direct access to the garden. Suite 3 comes fully equipped with: Microwave, oven and fridge/freezer Hairdryer, iron & ironing board Television (incl. M-Net), DVD and music player Dining table and chairs Small Kitchenette Cutlery, crockery & kitchenwares Linen and towels etc. Sleeps up to 4 people.   Studio sleeps 2 people in a king-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom, with hand basin and toilet, and "telephone shower" in the bath. The suite opens out onto a paved patio, looking up to the mountainside at the back of the lodge. The patio is equipped with outdoor furniture, sun umbrella and a small barbeque.
