Our tour starts in Cape Town, driving direction Somerset West along the N2. Taking the R132 at Grabouw/Elgin, direction Villiersdorp. We will then take St Lowry's Pass, in direction Franschhoek, until we reach Paarl, then again direction Cape Town. |

We reach Somerset West from Cape Town in about 30 minutes. Drive straight along the N2, going over Sir Lowry's Pass. From Sir Lowry's Pass you will be have a spectacular view of False Bay.

Our tour then goes direction Hermanus. There are numerous farm stalls along the way where you can have a nice break. We then go along the N2, and after about 15 minutes we reach Grabouw/Elgin, where we take the R321, direction Villiersdorp.

On the way to Villiersdorp, you will experience a vast landscape. Sprintime the area is very green, however the Tour is very rewarding anytime of the year.

Villiersdorp is a small town surrounded by rich farmlands and the nearby Theewaterskloof Dam - one of the largest in South Africa. Enjoy watersports, fishing or golf at the Theewaterskloof Country Club's 9-hole course. Enjoy the hiking trails in the Villiersdorp Nature Reserve or visit the Wild Flower Garden and Nature Reserve for a spectacular array of fynbos, proteas and birdlife.

From Villiersdorp, we then drive in direction Franschhoek. Here awaits you a breathtaking landscape and the Franschhoek Pass.

From the Pass, you will have a wonderful view over the Valley of Franschhoek. Franschhoek itself, has excellent restaurants and Wines, and is worthwhile to take a rest at this historical Wine Town. If you have the time, a visit to Paarl is recommended. From Paarl, we take the N1 again, direction Cape Town.
- For this tour you will need about 6 hours, however if you don't stop off at Franschhoek, it can be done in about 4 hours.
