Cape Town Waterfront - South Africa   This is known as “the Waterfront” and this part of the harbour is usually filled with people. Despite all the new buildings, the old harbour still is fully operational and there are many interesting things to be found. The Clock Tower is one of the main attractions in the Waterfront.    Many South African and German restaurants have enjoyed popularity in the waterfront since 2001. A brewery from Munich, with its self-brewed German beer, is another attraction. You will even find “Eisbein with Sauerkraut” in some restaurants here.   From the new Clock Tower ferries can take you to Robben Island. You will also find many modern galleries and shops in the new Clock Tower precinct.
